What’s proven and what isn’t

Every strategy document you just read describes a machine. This page tells you, honestly, how much of the machine has actually run — because a playbook that can’t tell you which of its own parts are proven is doing with strategy exactly what we refuse to do with facts.

Three labels, dated today. Proven means it ran in public and you can inspect the result. Running means it’s live but young — working, not yet weathered. Designed means it exists on paper with its reasoning shown, and has not yet been run at scale. We move things up this ladder in public, and if something moves down, that publishes too, in the same typeface.

PROVEN — ran in public, inspectable now. The research library, the issue backgrounders, and the verified-claims discipline behind them. The public site and its corrections door. The open-data releases. The candidate research and the equal-treatment machinery around it — every candidate in every race receiving identical materials, live through this cycle. The conversation kits, published and free. The commons repository — the estate’s public files, exportable and forkable. The publishing discipline itself: receipts, an independent check before things ship, corrections on the record. And the framework this whole set rests on, published with its sources and its reasoning flagged where it’s design rather than evidence.

RUNNING — live, young, being weathered right now. The signature rail and the public counter. The candidate welcome and question architecture, mid-cycle. The first opinion-mapping pilot, booked and opening mid-August. The harvest intake — built consent-first, coming to the surface with the fall season. The Ontario-wide race and platform research, in its second methodology pass by our own choice — we re-ran our own numbers before publishing them, which is the discipline working, not a delay.

DESIGNED — reasoned, published, not yet run. The connector season at volume. The One Big Conversation week and its synthesis. Answer Day and the adoption record at full scale — the architecture is law for us and public; its first full execution is this October. The coalition covenant at scale: the text is live and signable; the borrowed hall full of signing organizations is a November event that hasn’t happened yet. The ten-thousand-conversations season — a target, labeled a target, never a count. And the bench: the named human seats October needs are, as of this writing, honestly empty — which is itself an invitation, listed on the menu like everything else.

Why publish this? Because “trust us, it works” is the sentence this whole project was built to make unnecessary. A movement that shows you its unproven parts is making you a different offer than one that shows you a highlight reel: it’s offering you the actual current state of the machine, and a place in finishing it. The designed tier isn’t the embarrassing tier. It’s the part with your name on it.

This page is a dated snapshot. It gets re-issued as things move, and the old snapshots stay readable — that’s what a ledger is.
