The receipts
Nothing to show yet — and we’d rather tell you that than invent a number. Most groups publish promises. We publish counts.
Once matching begins, this page updates weekly with: asks received · matches made · referrals to the professionals · the gap list — needs we could not meet, named, because a neighbourhood can only fix what it can see · active volunteers, and whether they came back. Counts only: never names, never stories without consent, never a person turned into content.
Why receipts? Because trust is the whole product. A mutual-aid network that inflates its numbers is spending the one thing it exists to build. If this page sits empty longer than seems right, that’s a receipt too — write to unitetolove@gmail.com and ask us why.
We never handle money. No donations are taken here or anywhere — if you want to give money, give it directly to the verified organizations in the directory.
Volunteer-run and non-partisan — no party, no candidate, no memberships, nothing for sale. Beaches–East York Mutual Aid Networks (“BEY Mutual Aid”) is part of Toronto’s Mutual Aid Networks: a network of networks — nobody owns mutual aid.
